Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Traffic Engineer / Project Manager to join its collaborative team in Pittsburgh, PA. Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must hold a Professional Engineer license.
• 6+ years of road, intersection, and traffic signal design experience.
• Experience with HCS, SYNCHRO, and MUTCD required; AutoCAD/MicroStation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and permitting of traffic/transportation projects.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders.
• Coordinate and work with staff to determine feasibility and prepare reports, specifications, plans, and designs.
• Effectively organize, write, and edit draft proposals, reports, and other documents.
• Participate in identifying and pursuing new clients and attending business development meetings.
• Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for project assignments.
