Metro Associates in Buffalo, NY seeks a Senior Traffic Project Manager to lead mid-to-large transportation initiatives. You will oversee planning through delivery, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with agencies and clients to secure approvals and successful project outcomes.

You will mentor teams, drive technical excellence, and represent the firm in professional settings, while maintaining strong relationships and delivering safe, efficient mobility solutions for the region.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Leading transportation and traffic projects with strong client focus and governance.
• Strong knowledge of project management and QA/QC in civil/traffic domains.
• Familiarity with NYSDOT design standards and municipal coordination.

Responsabilités

• Lead Buffalo-area senior traffic and transportation projects from planning through delivery.
• Manage budgets, scope, schedules, staffing, billing, QA/QC, and client updates.
• Coordinate with agencies, clients, partners, and stakeholders for approvals and public processes.
• Prepare proposals and support new business opportunities, serving as primary client contact.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while engaging with professional organizations.
