Job summary

Consor in Houston seeks a Senior Traffic Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale traffic engineering and transportation operations projects across the region. You will oversee planning through construction support, manage PS&E packages, ITS deployments, and MOT, while aligning with client objectives, budgets, and schedules.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams and serve as a trusted advisor on traffic modeling and operations strategies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience and 5+ years in project management.
• Proven ability to manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams on large roadway projects.
• Established client relationships and history of winning work with DOT or municipal agencies.
• Experience supporting or leading business development and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project scopes, schedules, and fee estimates.
• Provide oversight for traffic engineering projects including ITS, signals, MOT, and PS&E.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver studies and PS&E on schedule and budget.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage relationships.
• Drive pursuit strategy and proposals to win new traffic projects.
• Collaborate with leaders to expand market presence and opportunities.
• Oversee project financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with TxDOT, MUTCD, AASHTO, FHWA, and local criteria.
• Mentor junior staff and develop a high-performing team.
