Job summary

Ardurra seeks a Senior Traffic Engineering Project Manager to lead municipal, county, and DOT traffic projects across Texas from our Houston office. The role requires strong leadership, technical traffic expertise, and proven project management across multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license in Texas, 10+ years of experience, and familiarity with Synchro, HCS, Vissim, Aimsun, or Visum.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required.
PTOE certification is preferred; ITS/TSMO experience valued.
10+ years of traffic engineering and transportation design experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager/Traffic Engineering Lead on municipal and DOT projects.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery.
Perform traffic studies, capacity analyses, safety studies, and TIAs.
Develop signing and pavement marking plans; traffic signal plans.
Support TSMO and ITS projects and initiatives.
Conduct crash analyses and signal timing studies.
Coordinate with clients, agencies, and project teams.
Mentor junior engineers and staff.
Support proposals, qualifications, and business development.
Maintain client relationships and growth opportunities.
