Job summary

Olsson in Phoenix is seeking a Traffic/Technology Engineer to lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks for our transportation projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve mobility and safety across communities.

Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree, 5–10 years of traffic/ITS experience, EI or PE, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, and knowledge of Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, or VISSIM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and relevant licensure or EI/PE.
• 5–10 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, or ITS projects.
• EI certificate or PE license is preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• Experience with design projects and traffic studies is a plus."
• Familiarity with industry software (Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM) is beneficial.
• Local knowledge and experience are advantageous.
