Olsson’s Transportation team is seeking a Transportation Engineer – Traffic & Technology to design signals, ITS projects, and traffic analyses for diverse transportation programs. Based in Lincoln or Omaha, NE, you will work with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safety and mobility improvements.

Candidates typically have 3–8 years in traffic/ transportation engineering, FE/EI certification, and a Civil Engineering degree; PE licensure is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering.
• FE exam completed and EI/EIT certification required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation or similar software.

Responsabilités

• Design signals, pavement markings, signing and temporary traffic control.
• Evaluate safety and operational performance of transportation systems.
• Analyze traffic data and develop mobility and safety recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
