Job summary

H&H is seeking a Traffic Group Manager to lead traffic engineering and transportation planning efforts across the New York Metropolitan Area. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality project delivery in alignment with MUTCD, HCM, and AASHTO standards.

The role requires a NY PE license, extensive experience in traffic analysis and design, and strong leadership to manage multiple projects, budgets, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• PE license in New York is required.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in traffic engineering, analysis, signal design, signing and striping, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and staff resource management for traffic engineering projects across the New York Metropolitan Area.
• Lead the preparation of traffic impact studies, transportation planning studies, and operational analyses.
• Direct analysis and design of signalized and unsignalized intersections, roundabouts, and interchanges.
• Oversee traffic signal design, timing analysis, signing and striping plans, and maintenance of traffic strategies.
• Mentor, train, and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality for multiple concurrent assignments.
