Job summary

HNTB is seeking a dynamic traffic engineering leader to help build a growing Northern New England practice. You’ll lead a portfolio of transportation projects from our Bedford, NH, South Portland, ME, or Burlington, VT offices, guiding teams, clients, and partners toward smarter mobility solutions.

You’ll shape proposals, manage budgets and schedules, mentor staff, and drive innovative delivery approaches across planning, studies, ITS, and signal design for Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.
• Knowledge of transportation project delivery and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations and assist in proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project team to deliver scope on time and budget.
• Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design and production for projects.
• Lead project delivery planning and mentor team toward objectives.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment and performance reviews.
