Job summary

H&H is seeking a Senior Roadway/Transportation Engineer to lead our Bedford, New Hampshire transportation practice. You will manage multidisciplinary projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships while contributing to strategic growth of the Highway Group.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of highway design experience, a PE license (or ability to obtain within six months), and proficiency with Bentley CONNECT Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years of highway, interchange, and roadway design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Familiarity with New Hampshire Department of Transportation design standards.
• Drainage design experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Bentley CONNECT Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead small design groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary transportation projects and design teams.
• Provide QA/QC and ensure design quality.
• Produce roadway designs for new and rehabilitation projects.
• Lead client meetings, proposals, and regulatory reviews.
• Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets.
• Mentor staff and oversee construction support services.
• Support business development and client relationships.
• Coordinate with other design team members and review submittals.
