The role requires strong data interpretation, reporting, and communication with internal staff, local governments, consultants, and FHWA.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge of traffic engineering principles, practices and standards.
• Experience designing plans for traffic control devices and roadways.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and interpret engineering data; prepare reports and recommendations.
• Communicate with VDOT staff, local agencies, consultants and the public.
• Conduct complex traffic studies including signal, speed, safety and capacity analyses.
• Manage projects within scope, schedule and budget; provide status updates.
• Coordinate engineering program activities and assist in project management.
