Job summary

• Experience gathering data, developing recommendations and presenting findings.

• Extensive knowledge of traffic engineering principles.
• Proficient with traffic engineering software (CADD, MicroStation, Synchro, CORSIM).

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering data and prepare clear reports and recommendations.
• Communicate with VDOT staff, local governments, consultants and the public.
• Conduct complex traffic engineering studies including signal, speed and safety analyses.
• Manage engineering projects to meet scope and timeline.
• Assist in project scope, schedule, budget and status reports.
