Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Traffic Engineer in Florida to perform traffic and parking studies, transportation planning, traffic event management, and traffic signal/roadway design as part of a multidisciplinary team. Projects span sports, healthcare, higher education, distribution, and more, with opportunities for leadership and client coordination.

You will work onsite in Florida with potential travel; required are a Civil Engineering degree and 3+ years in traffic engineering, with EIT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering and related studies.
• Current EIT licensure; P.E. is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform planning and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering and land development projects.
• Conduct traffic analysis for traffic impact studies.
• Oversee field staff collecting traffic volume and regulatory data.
• Prepare and review traffic and parking studies and reports.
