Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Florida is seeking a Senior Staff Traffic Engineer to lead traffic and parking studies, planning projects, and roadway design within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

You will work on projects across sports, healthcare, higher education, distribution, and commercial sectors, coordinating with staff and clients while applying advanced mathematical methods and engineering practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
3+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering and related studies.
Current EIT licensure; P.E. a plus.
Knowledge of HCS, SYNCHRO, and MUTCD; AutoCAD and MicroStation a plus.
Ability to coach and manage staff and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform planning and permitting of traffic/transportation projects.
Conduct traffic impact studies and reviews of reports.
Lead field staff collecting traffic data and site information.
Prepare and review traffic/parking design documents and budgets.
Supervise staff engineers and coordinate field inspections.
Communicate findings with clients and project teams.
