The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, an active PE license, and a minimum of 10 years in traffic or transportation engineering. Key responsibilities include managing projects, overseeing traffic modeling, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in traffic or transportation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of DOT Design Manuals, MUTCD, AASHTO, and relevant state DOT standards.
• Experience in ITS design, traffic signal timing, and system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage traffic engineering projects.
• Conduct safety assessments and intersection improvement studies.
• Coordinate with clients, DOTs, municipalities, and subconsultants.
