Job summary

LJB Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer in Ohio (Dayton, Cleveland, or Columbus) to support and grow our Transportation Practice. The role focuses on traffic impact studies, signal design, and corridor analyses, with primary responsibilities in project and client management.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in civil engineering with a P.E. license and 7–15 years of experience, plus proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, SIDRA, VISSIM, and AutoCAD/MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• P.E. license is required.
• 7 to 15 years' experience in traffic/transportation engineering is expected.
• Experience with traffic signal design, timing, and ITS planning beneficial.
• Knowledge of highway capacity analysis and related software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic impact studies and operations analyses.
• Conduct safety studies and highway lighting design.
• Develop signal timing plans and maintenance of traffic.
• Lead project management and client relationship activities.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with OH municipalities as needed.
