Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill in Manchester, NH seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead transportation projects that improve safety, mobility and efficiency. You will perform traffic impact studies, manage signal and safety improvement designs, and coordinate with DOT and municipal clients.

You will lead technical analyses, mentor teammates, and help shape transportation solutions while benefiting from flexible/remote work options and career growth within a trusted civil and environmental engineering firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
Typically requires 6+ years of experience.
PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months.
Proficiency with traffic simulation software: SYNCHRO and SIDRA.
CAD software knowledge: MicroStation/Connect, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS.
Experience with DOT project design and plan preparation requirements.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proven project lead ability and on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities

Prepare reports, specifications, and designs for transportation projects and maintain documentation.
Develop technical traffic reports for DOT, municipalities, and developers.
Conduct traffic impact studies including trip generation and capacity analysis.
Design traffic signals and oversee safety improvement projects.
Oversee traffic counts, analyze data, and identify trends for future needs.
Provide technical guidance to project teams using交通 simulation tools.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve safety and mobility.
Stay updated on new transportation regulations and standards.
