Job summary

Horrocks, a leading engineering firm in the Phoenix area, seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead a team through forecasting, analysis and design of transportation projects.

You will conduct operations analysis with tools like Synchro/SimTraffic, VISTRO and VISSIM, prepare detailed traffic impact reports, and collaborate with managers across teams. PE licensure and many years in traffic engineering are required; this is a high-responsibility role with a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• PE licensure required
• 15+ years of traffic analysis and design experience
• Hands-on experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, VISTRO and/or VISSIM
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask across many projects

Responsibilities

• Lead a traffic team through forecasting, analysis and design projects
• Prepare comprehensive traffic impact analysis reports
• Collaborate with operations, technical directors and marketing managers
• Manage multiple tasks and projects within scope, schedule, and budget
• Provide technical leadership on mid to large scale projects
