Job summary

Horrocks in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Roadway Engineer to design and analyze freeways, interchanges and roadways, leading projects from start to finish. The role emphasizes collaboration with our Transportation Team and clients to deliver safe, efficient transportation solutions.

The position requires a Civil Engineering degree, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Civil Engineering certification (P.E.).
• Experience with Microstation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and analysis of freeways, interstates, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails
• Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects
• Support with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub consultant coordination
• Coordinate and work with a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish
