Kimley-Horn in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience for our Transportation and Traffic team. This is not a remote position.

You will perform traffic engineering, project management, and market-facing duties while mentoring staff and advancing client relationships across multiple jurisdictions. A PE license or progress toward it is expected within 12 months.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Open Roads, Synchro, HCS, and/or Vissim software applications desired
• Ability to work in a team environment, balance priorities among multiple projects, and effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner

Responsabilidades

• Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks to deliver transportation design and planning, transit, traffic engineering, safety, and ITS projects for diverse clients
• Foster growth in personal practice while contributing to the transportation engineering practice
• Manage projects profitably, engage in hands-on delivery, and mentor staff
• Lead business development efforts, write proposals, develop scopes of work, and assemble budgets
