Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer in Round Rock, TX to lead a growing transportation design practice within the traffic team. This role offers influence over strategy, staffing, and project direction, with hybrid work options and opportunities across multiple states.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of transportation design experience, a Texas-registered PE, and a track record of growing engineering groups and winning business through strong client relationships and proposal leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience designing transportation projects with a focus on traffic.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license issued in Texas.
• Proven ability to grow engineering groups and build client relationships.
• Ability to mentor staff at all levels and lead by example.
• Experience in business development and project leadership.

• Strong interpersonal and business development abilities, including client relationship management, partnership building, proposal writing, and presentation delivery.

Job Details

We have an exciting new opportunity to expand our traffic team, we are seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to help develop and grow our traffic department within our transportation group. This role will be central to expanding our name in the industry as we continue to work as prime on some top level projects.

Leadership responsibilities include:
