Responsibilities

• Process and post business transactions (contracts, delivery orders, invoices) in SAP and maintain digital records.
• Arrange warehousing and transportation, negotiate with freight forwarders, track shipments for timely delivery.
• Prepare shipping documents for customs clearance.
• Track inventory levels, purchasing, and shipping records; prepare balance, pricing, and shortage reports.
• Reconcile material receipts and inventory at processors or warehouses.
• Coordinate claims or issues with insurance providers, processors, or suppliers.
• Serve as point of contact for customer and supplier questions; resolve general issues.
• Maintain vendor and customer accounts ensuring timely invoicing and payments to vendors.

We're partnered with a multinational supply chain and logistics company seeking a Senior Traffic Coordinator to support logistics and account operations for a business division handling material imports. This role covers transaction processing, shipment coordination, and inventory tracking, with regular contact with customers and suppliers to keep accounts and deliveries running smoothly. This is a hybrid position.

What you'll do

• Process and post business transactions (contracts, delivery orders, invoices) in SAP, and maintain organized digital records for accounting
• Arrange warehousing and transportation, including rate negotiation with freight forwarders and tracking shipments for timely, compliant delivery
• Prepare shipping documents for customs clearance
• Track inventory levels, purchasing, and shipping records, and prepare reports on balances, pricing, and shortages
• Reconcile material receipts and inventory held at processors or warehouses
• Coordinate claims or complaints with insurance providers, processors, or suppliers
• Serve as a point of contact for customer and supplier questions, resolving general issues as needed
• Maintain vendor and customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and payment, including payments to vendors for trucking, duty, and freight

What you bring

• Comfort learning integrated accounting and materials management systems (SAP experience a plus)

Salary: $35-$37/hour + bonus

This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
