Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II in the United States to oversee traffic control operations on assigned projects. You will set up, monitor, and remove lane closures on state highways, coordinate with survey crews, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

You will lead traffic control crews, mentor team members, manage project documentation, and handle equipment transport to job sites. The role requires night shifts, statewide travel, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MV record.
• Minimum of 2–3 years (4,000+ hours) traffic control experience.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification is required.
• Must complete ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor advanced training.
• Experience setting up traffic control operations on state and local roadways.

Responsibilities

• Oversee traffic control operations on projects and set up lane closures.
• Lead and train Traffic Control Technicians and Flaggers.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE compliance; conduct toolbox talks.
• Maintain job documentation and timesheets.
• Transport equipment to/from job sites and manage inventory.
• Travel statewide; night shifts and on-call duties as required.
