JPMorganChase in the Asset Management Trading Technology group seeks a seasoned Software Engineer III to design and deliver scalable, secure trading technology. You will build core Java applications and drive end-to-end development across multiple asset classes.

You will collaborate with Traders, lead code reviews, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve quality and delivery speed while maintaining secure coding standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training in software engineering with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
• Experience designing and building end-to-end software systems.
• Proficient in modern programming languages (Java/Kotlin) and OO design.
• Experience with messaging/streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AMPS) and modern SDLC tools.

Responsabilités

• Support critical production applications and resolve user issues.
• Design scalable, high-performance trading systems across asset classes.
• Collaborate with Traders to deliver impactful solutions.
• Develop core Java applications for mission-critical platforms.
• Architect and implement messaging/streaming tech (Kafka/AMPS).
• Lead code reviews, mentor teammates, and drive engineering excellence.
• Contribute to full SDLC from design to production with rapid delivery.
