JPMorganChase in New York is seeking a talented Software Engineer to advance our core Java applications for mission-critical trading platforms. You will design, build, and deploy scalable systems in a fast-paced financial environment, collaborating with Traders and Quants to deliver impactful solutions.

You will lead code reviews, mentor teammates, and contribute to continuous improvement with AI-assisted development tools, automated testing, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

Formal training and 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
Experience designing and building end-to-end software systems in a corporate environment.
Proficiency with Java or Kotlin and OO design principles.
Experience with messaging/streaming tech such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

Support critical production applications and resolve user issues.
Design scalable, high-performance trading systems across asset classes.
Collaborate with Traders to deliver impactful solutions.
Lead code reviews and mentor engineers to ensure engineering excellence.
Deploy code to production daily with confidence.
