Job summary

Allspring Global Investments in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Senior Trading and Operations Application Strategist to optimize OMS/EMS workflows and enforce pre- and post-trade controls. You will partner with compliance, IT, and operations to design, test, and deploy improvements across front-to-back trading processes.

Responsibilities include leading implementation, ensuring STP, and aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with a major OMS in a business systems or application support role.
• Charles River experience required.
• Experience with pre-trade compliance and post-trade monitoring or trade surveillance.
• Strong understanding of investment management operations and the full front-to-back trade lifecycle.
• Experience with FIX protocol and electronic trading venues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between trading desks, operations, compliance, and IT for OMS/EMS initiatives.
• Analyze and document trading lifecycle workflows and identify gaps.
• Ensure STP by coordinating with middle/back offices.
• Lead testing, validation, and deployment of updates and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot complex trade execution and compliance issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for workflow changes and upgrades.
