Job summary

Vestmark Advisory Solutions (VAS) is expanding its advisory and asset management services and has an opening for an experienced individual in the retail SMA order generation and trade execution arena. The VAS Trader is primarily responsible for implementing trades to Manager Models.

The models are proprietary and 3rd party. This role supports SMA, MSP, and Model Only/UMA sponsors and managers and maintaining the underlying accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3+ years in SMA/UMA or wealth management
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve trading process efficiency
• Process client model changes and generate across-the-board block trade orders
• Rebalance accounts and route resulting trade orders for execution
• Communicate client model changes to sponsors and manage ATB trade order rotation
• Perform trading services to connect Vestmark with sponsors
• Oversee all aspects of trade operations including order management, execution review, and reconciliation
