Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Deskside Support Tech for a full-time role in Princeton, NJ. The position supports traders and front-office users, ensuring high availability of trading applications and market data platforms.

Responsibilities include onsite and remote support, incident management via ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, and collaboration with application, network, infrastructure, and vendor teams. Strong Windows/Mac skills required.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows/Mac devices support and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Citrix, Microsoft 365 and basic networking.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• 8-15 years in Trader Support, Front Office Support, or Financial Services IT Support.
• Experience in supporting Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Brokerage environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support to traders and front-office users ensuring high availability of trading applications, market data platforms, and trading floor infrastructure.
• Support trading and market data platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues related to trading applications, market data feeds, desktops, laptops, and multi-monitor workstations.
• Provide onsite and remote support to traders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM tools ensuring SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with application, network, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, user access management, and hardware deployments.
• Maintain documentation and follow ITIL-based support processes.
