Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Senior Advisor, Trade Compliance to lead import compliance execution and program governance onsite in Houston, TX. The role partners with brokers, forwarders, and internal teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical procedures and timely filings.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in U.S. import regulations, classification, valuation, and recordkeeping, with strong collaboration and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in import compliance or related regulatory matters.
• Experience supporting or administering a trade compliance program in a complex corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the import compliance program, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee customs broker entries and broker performance.
• Assist with CTPAT activities, audits, and regulatory filings.
• Provide guidance on tariff classification, valuation, and country-of-origin determinations.
