Job summary

Nidec Global Appliance seeks an experienced trade compliance leader to drive end-to-end foreign trade operations across the US, Mexico, and Canada, owning regional governance and a GTM system rollout.

You will optimize HTS classifications, leverage USMCA and other FTAs, manage brokers, ensure audits readiness, and lead the PMO for ERP integration with SAP/Oracle/AX. This role requires cross-functional collaboration and bilingual proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in international trade compliance and logistics across North America.
• Deep expertise in USMCA rules of origin, customs valuation, tariff classification, and multi-country regimes.
• Proven track record leading GTM or ERP software implementations.
• Language proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Law, or related field; Licensed Customs Broker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct foreign trade operations and customs compliance across US, Mexico, and Canada.
• Optimize HTS classifications and USMCA/T-MEC utilization with global trade agreements.
• Audit and manage regional brokers, forwarders, and logistics service providers; monitor SLAs and transport metrics.
• Maintain regional security programs (C-TPAT, OEA, PIP) and lead audits for readiness.
• Lead PMO for enterprise GTM system rollout integrated with SAP, Oracle, or AX.
