Job summary

Nidec Mobility America is seeking a Key Trade Compliance Coordinator to ensure ongoing compliance of import/export transactions, including FTZs, with leadership-supplied strategies. You will prepare reports, validate critical information, and support international trade operations across teams.

The role requires 5+ years in trade compliance, strong knowledge of US regulations, and experience with ERP and compliance software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in trade compliance, customs brokerage, or import/export operations.
• Advanced knowledge of US customs regulations, FTZs, HTS, and related compliance.
• Proficient with trade compliance software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with import/export documentation review, valuation, and COO determinations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with trade laws and regulations across operations.
• Develop and refine SOPs for EEI filings, COO, HTS, and export controls.
• Assess and improve effectiveness of trade compliance programs and logistics.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional compliance initiatives with FTZ relevance.
• Review import/export and FTZ documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Support vendor and stakeholder communications to ensure timely clearance and compliance.
