Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience with 600, 750 and 1500Vdc traction power substation design.
• Professional Engineer's license is required.
• Experience with North American transit industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of traction power engineers and electrical designers.
• Design traction power substations and system layouts.
• Coordinate with electric utility companies and systems engineers.
• Perform traction engineering studies including short circuit analysis.
• Develop specifications and cost estimates.
• Provide testing and commissioning support.
