Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Engineering Specialist or Senior Engineering Specialist in the Tracking Architecture Performance Department to lead tool development for modeling and analysis of sensors and system-of-systems architectures. This 100% onsite role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM, at least 6 years of leadership in MS&A for space systems, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

security clearance. Travel up to 5-10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of applicable professional experience leading technical teams.
• Strong modeling, simulation, and analysis of space systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead tool development for modeling and analysis studies of sensors and system-of-systems architectures.
• Collaborate with team members to support systems engineering studies and tradeoffs.
• Design modeling, simulation, and analysis strategies using MS&A tools.
• Develop algorithms for tracking, data fusion, and sensor architectures.
• Lead projects to improve modeling and simulation tools on an ongoing basis.
