Job summary

Northern Plains Rail Services is seeking a Mobile Foreman in Minot, ND. This hands-on leadership role directs track rehabilitation and maintenance crews to deliver on schedule while upholding safety standards and customer satisfaction.

The Mobile Foreman leads daily operations, coordinates with managers and inspectors, and responds to emergency maintenance needs, ensuring quality workmanship across NPRS territories.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-year experience in track maintenance and GCOR, OTS, and FRA training.
• Ability to supervise a crew in restoration, renewal, maintenance, and new track construction.
• Able to inspect deviations from track safety standards and diagnose/correct issues.
• Responsible for safe completion of assigned projects and documentation.
• Safety training, track protection, and team supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in track inspection, restoration, rehabilitation, and daily safety practices
• Coordinate with managers and inspectors to plan, execute, and document work
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and ensure compliance with track standards
• Communicate with customers and support crews across NPRS territories
• Travel as required
