Job summary

Northern Plains Rail Services is seeking a Mobile Foreman to lead track maintenance and rehabilitation crews. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily operations, safety, and quality to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

The position requires 1+ year of railroad track maintenance, GCOR/OTC/FRA knowledge, supervision ability, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Work is outdoors in demanding conditions with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-year experience in track maintenance and GCOR, OTS, and FRA training.
• Must be able to supervise a crew in track restoration, renewal, maintenance, and new construction.
• Able to inspect and identify deviations from track safety standards and take corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in track inspection, restoration, rehabilitation, and daily safety practices.
• Coordinate with managers and inspectors to plan, execute, and document work.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and ensure compliance with track standards.
• Communicate with customers and support crews across NPRS territories as needed.
