Job summary

The Northern Trust Company is seeking a Senior Risk professional to oversee TPMO participation in Corporate Risk Management processes in Chicago. You will coordinate risk governance, maintain risk calendars, and support leadership reporting across enterprise risk activities.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in risk management, strong Power BI experience, and a proven ability to drive cross‑functional deliverables without direct authority.

• Experience applying Corporate Risk Management requirements in a first‑line function.

Responsibilities

• Manage TPMO participation in Corporate Risk Management processes, including risk and control assessments and reporting.
• Coordinate implementation of Corporate Risk Management requirements within TPM processes and governance.
• Maintain the TPMO calendar of risk activities and deliverables.
• Support risk governance routines and material preparation for leadership reviews.
• Identify dependencies and reporting gaps across TPMO risk activities and escalate as needed.
• Provide guidance on TPMO processes, timelines, and reporting obligations.
• Lead Third-Party Risk governance within the First Line of Defense and collaborate with Vendor Managers.
