Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager, Service Parts NPI to lead the introduction of new vehicle parts into Rivian’s service supply chain.

You will drive readiness for part changes and launches, collaborating with design engineers to create the Service BOM and ensure service levels across the vehicle portfolio. You will apply strong program management and technical capabilities while partnering with multiple teams to reduce supply chain complexity and cost, and to enable efficient

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Automotive, Tier 1, OEM, or technical field (vehicle repair a plus).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering or related discipline.
• CAD/Catia/Enovia/PLM experience.
• MRP/ERP knowledge with focus on product lifecycle management, BOMs, supply chain, procure-to-pay (SAP a plus).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design Engineering to develop the Interior Service BOM for new vehicles, to determine which parts of the vehicle will be serviced and implemented in the global service network
• Go-to-Market new part introduction and program launch responsibilities (service level to service center launch)
• Own End of Life parts analysis to mitigate obsolescence and ensure supply continuity
• Maintain Service BOM data for your vehicle system (Interior Trim) with high accuracy
• Analyze design changes to determine supersession and compatibility of parts
• Support exception management reporting and serviceability escalations
• Collaborate with purchasing, demand planning, supply chain, and engineering across the organization
• Drive first principles decision making to improve sourcing, service levels, and forecasting
• Develop best-in-class service operations leveraging Rivian’s platform and new technologies
• Seek out innovations and present strategies to improve processes and operations
