Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead a large-scale robotics manufacturing automation program, integrating AI, control systems, and mechanical design for safe human-robot collaboration at scale.

The role requires 10+ years in technical program/product management, strong communication, and ability to lead cross-functional teams with hands-on manufacturing experience and tools like JIRA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Establishing a mechanism and cadence to manage a large-scale manufacturing automation program.
• Managing escalations or misalignments when there are risks to delivering committed services; facilitating tradeoff decisions with customers and partner teams.
• Determining whether a decision is one-way or two-way door and coordinating discussions with customer/partner teams.
• Translating risks and technical details to leadership to drive decisions with limited information on tight deadlines.
• Developing and publishing a clear RACI to create transparency and drive ownership.
• Coordinating across internal teams to align and enable deployment services.
• Exercising strong technical judgement to influence deployment methodology at program level.
• Understanding scalability requirements and communicating them to Product and Engineering teams
