Job summary

Foundation Robotics Labs Inc. seeks a senior leader to shape and drive the vehicle program from concept to production.

You will collaborate with engineering leadership to set priorities, define requirements, and guide tradeoffs across mechanical, electrical, software, and AI domains. You will own the development milestones, influence strategic investments, and ensure manufacturability while transitioning prototypes into scalable production.

Qualifications

• 3 (minimum for Senior) to 10+ years spanning hands-on engineering and technical leadership on complex multidisciplinary products.
• Proven track record delivering integrated hardware-electronics-software systems from concept through manufacturing release.
• Strong technical fluency grounded in real build experience.
• First-principles thinking with sound instincts for strategic tradeoffs.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, software, AI, and embedded/hardware-adjacent systems.
• Experience driving reliability growth, scaling readiness, and manufacturing release processes.

Responsibilities

• Shape the vision and strategy of the vehicle program with engineering leadership.
• Own end-to-end program execution from prototype to production.
• Define what we build, including requirements, performance targets, and tradeoffs.
• Drive high-impact technical and business decisions balancing cost, schedule and risk.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Mechanical, Electrical, Software, AI, and Operations.
• Allocate resources and influence engineering investments and supplier strategies.
• Transition from prototype to production with milestones and manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with company leadership on major challenges and opportunities.
