Job summary

Meta's Risk organization seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale risk programs across engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance teams. You will design, build, and scale frameworks, controls, and tooling to keep Meta's products and infrastructure trustworthy at scale.

You will drive risk programs end to end, from identifying risks to implementing and sustaining controls, with repeatable frameworks for assessment and evidence of effectiveness.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, CS, ME, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in software, hardware, systems, or technical product/program management.
• Knowledge of software and hardware development for large-scale hardware readiness and end-to-end product development.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical investments.
• Experience delivering complex technology programs from inception to delivery.
• Experience gathering requirements and defining project scope.
• Ability to work across multiple teams with initiative and leadership in ambiguous spaces.
• Experience defining and optimizing engineering processes at scale.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships across time zones.
• Experience solving complex technical problems in large-scale systems.
• Experience building relationships across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience defining strategic direction and identifying opportunities for impact across products.
• Experience communicating at executive levels and influencing leadership.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and scaling distributed systems.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, or regulatory compliance domains.
• Experience identifying opportunities for the organization and influencing stakeholders.
• Proven commitment to scaling risk management for large-scale AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead effective program teams to align objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance to define requirements and roadmap.
• Create communications strategies to share status, challenges, and risks.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, adjust scope, timeline, and resources as needed.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of programs from design to post-launch support.
• Establish and track metrics, benchmarks, and performance indicators.
• Address long-term risk and compliance challenges with engineering leaders.
• Drive product strategy to align with company initiatives.
• Lead process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort.
