Job summary

Meta seeks a Technical Program Manager in Risk to lead large-scale programs that strengthen risk management across products and infrastructure.

You will work with engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance to design, build, and scale controls and tooling that keep Meta's systems trustworthy at scale. You will drive end-to-end risk programs from identifying emerging risks to implementing and sustaining effective controls and evidence of effectiveness.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, CS, ME, or related technical field
• 12+ years in software/hardware engineering or technical program management
• Knowledge of software and hardware development for large-scale hardware readiness
• Excel at clearly communicating complex technical investments simply
• Experience delivering complex technology programs from inception through delivery
• Knowledge of understanding user needs and requirements
• Experience across multiple teams in ambiguous spaces
• Experience defining and optimizing engineering processes at scale
• Experience building cross-functional relationships across time zones
• Experience analyzing and solving complex problems in large-scale systems
• Experience building relationships with multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience defining strategic direction and identifying opportunities
• Experience communicating at executive level and influencing leadership
• Knowledge of LLMs, machine learning, and scaling distributed systems
• Knowledge of privacy, security, or regulatory compliance domains
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and influence stakeholders
• Proven commitment to scaling risk management for large-scale AI compute systems

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional program teams and align objectives
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance to define requirements and roadmaps
• Create and implement communication strategies for status, challenges, and risks
• Manage dependencies, mitigate risks, adjust scope and resources
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of programs from design to post-launch support
• Establish and track metrics, quality benchmarks, and KPIs
• Anticipate and address long-term risk and compliance challenges with engineering leaders
• Drive product strategy to support company initiatives
• Lead process improvements and automate workflows
