Job summary

Independence Pet Group is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise‑level technical programs spanning product, technology, data, and operations. This role supports remote work in the USA with a strong preference for hybrid work in Chicago, IL or New York, NY.

The candidate will translate executive priorities into actionable workstreams, manage intake and governance, and drive delivery across multiple teams while surfacing risks and tradeoffs for leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading complex technical programs and portfolio execution.
• Experience translating strategy into delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
• Proficient in governance, risk and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid and waterfall delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage integrated program plans, roadmaps and governance.
• Lead intake, prioritization, sequencing, and readiness across multiple teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including product, engineering, data/analytics, and legal.
• Translate objectives into scope, user stories, acceptance criteria and plans.
• Prepare executive status reports, decision memos and dashboards.
