Job summary

Google is seeking an executive-level Technical Program Manager to oversee data center capacity delivery for hyperscale builds. You will manage site selection, construction, commissioning, and handover with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget across multiple campuses.

You’ll lead multi-gigawatt, multi-billion-dollar portfolios, coordinate late-stage hardware insertions for GPU/TPU AI clusters, and partner with internal and external teams to set top-tier safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 8 years of experience in executive leadership delivering hyperscale data center capacity from greenfield builds to operational readiness.
• 5 years of experience managing multi-hundred megawatt infrastructure delivery programs with portfolio values exceeding $1B.
• 5 years of technical experience with high-density power delivery, substations, MEP/FP/Controls coordination, and fast-track design-build construction.
• 5 years of experience in commercial management, including GMP contract negotiation, cost control, and general contractor supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Direct the complete lifecycle of hyperscale data center builds, including entitlements, permitting, design, procurement, fast-track construction, commissioning, and operational handover.
• Oversee multi-gigawatt capacity portfolios ($5B+ in contract value), maintaining full accountability for schedule, cost, quality, and risk management across active campuses.
• Manage high-density compute capacity deployment, incorporating late-stage tech insertions for GPU and TPU infrastructure, high-density power systems, and advanced cooling technologies.
• Align internal cross-functional partners alongside primary GC, EC, and MC contractors to ensure seamless capacity releases and program execution.
• Establish site culture standards across large contractor workforces to maintain safety metrics and standardize regional delivery operating models.
