Job summary

Amazon Web Services Open Data Analytics (ODA) seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-team programs spanning release automation, engine performance, and datalake integrations with Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, and Amazon Athena.

You will own end-to-end delivery, build integrated schedules, manage risks, and coordinate across Foundations and Engines teams to accelerate region deployments and upstream open-source contributions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional software programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive cross-team program execution for release automation, engine performance, and datalake integration initiatives across multiple AWS services.
• Build and maintain integrated program schedules, tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks across teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that span team boundaries and escalating when needed.
• Define program metrics and reporting to measure release velocity and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate open-source upstream efforts and ensure alignment with internal release cadences.
