Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end customer migration programs within our Customer Success organization. You will guide enterprise clients through migrations to our platform, coordinating with Solutions Architects, Implementation Engineers, and product teams.

You will translate migration challenges into actionable insights, build playbooks, monitor risks, mentor peers, and drive delivery velocity using Jira, Confluence, and other modern tooling

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical domains or organizations with deep technical foundation (such as Software Engineering or DevOps).
• 4+ years of experience specifically as a Technical Program Manager leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Direct experience in customer-facing technical functions guiding enterprise platform transitions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior engineering and executive leadership without direct authority.
• Analytical approach to delivery with metrics, forecasting lifecycles, and data-backed tooling.

Responsibilities

• Drive Enterprise Migrations: Lead the execution of large-scale customer onboarding and implementation projects, managing cross-organizational dependencies from kickoff to go-live.
• Scope & Plan Frameworks: Partner with client leads to gather requirements and map out tailored migration paths.
• Deconstruct Complex Projects: Break down technical initiatives into milestones; identify risks and resolve bottlenecks.
• Communicate with Impact: Translate technical goals and status into narratives for stakeholders at all levels.
• Scale & Streamline: Analyze delivery metrics and onboarding data to identify friction points and improve velocity.
• Build the Migration Playbook: Create standardized migration templates and engagement frameworks.
• Forecast & Manage Portfolio Health: Track resources against onboarding pipeline to prevent delays.
• Champion TPM Best Practices: Mentor juniors and promote modern tooling and agile methods across CS.
