Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Mountain View to lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary projects from requirements to delivery. You will partner with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to plan roadmaps, manage risks, and communicate progress to executives.

The role covers Display Ads, App Ads and related infrastructure; you’ll optimize compute and ML resources, drive governance, and ensure scalable capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in capacity planning.
• Experience with display ads.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams to understand their resource profile and create a business and technical roadmap/plan to meet requirements.
• Partner closely with key stakeholders including engineering teams regarding resource planning.
• Manage communications and escalations related to Google compute and machine learning resource allocation.
• Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope. Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus.
• Monitor, measure, and communicate project progress, potential risks and delays and team performance to program teams, executives and other sponsors.
