Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead data center capacity planning initiatives in Kirkland, WA. You will partner with Product Area Managers and cross-functional teams to codify requirements, manage schedules, and drive capacity optimization across data centers.

The role requires strong program management experience, data center capacity planning knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex analyses to executives and engineers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data center capacity planning, network planning, or power planning.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure concepts and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Codify, maintain, and update Google product area technical and business requirements with PARMs.
• Influence execution and Google’s spend and capacity allocation decisions.
• Implement new data center power planning initiatives with cross-functional policy changes.
• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs across Google through end-to-end lifecycle.
• Provide concise, actionable recommendations to executives regarding data center capacity needs.
