Job summary

Google in Atlanta, GA seeks a Technical Program Manager II for Capacity Constraints Management within Cloud Infrastructure. The role leads complex multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, planning requirements, identifying risks, and communicating with cross-functional partners, including executives and engineers.

You will help plan future ML deployments, enable new products, and support server floor designs to facilitate them, contributing to Google’s data center strategy and on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data center infrastructure like power, networking, and cooling.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of projects, managing data center constraints (power, space, cooling, operations, and network) in colocation data center deployments.
• Create and manage physical layouts and standards, including deployment impact and feasibility of NPIs. Define and manage tooling requirements for planning and delivery.
• Own and support relationships between cross-functional teams, track deployment workflows with partner teams, and raise issues to ensure on-time follow-through.
• Influence the development of new products (NPI) and colocation server floor design decisions, focused on upcoming fleetwide transitions in ML and accelerators space.
• Drive the development of new tools and decision-making frameworks for optimizing fleet life-cycle.
