Job summary

Illumio is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to drive complex, cross-functional programs across its cybersecurity platform. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Cloud Operations, Customer Success, and Support to deliver strategic programs that improve product quality and release velocity.

You will lead end-to-end release planning, manage dependencies, and develop metrics for portfolio health while guiding teams through SDLC, Agile practices, and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience in enterprise software, cloud, networking, infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
• Experience leading large cross-functional engineering programs across Product, Engineering, QA, Security, Cloud Operations, and Customer Success.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management.
• Experience managing complex technical dependencies across multiple engineering organizations.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Claude, Copilot or similar tools.
• Experience driving AI-enabled workflow automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering organizations from planning through delivery.
• Own end-to-end release management for multiple product lines and coordinate readiness activities.
• Drive cross-team execution, identify blockers, and manage dependencies across distributed teams.
• Define program management practices, build dashboards and executive reporting for portfolio health.
• Coordinate large-scale initiatives involving SaaS migrations, platform modernization, and customer enablement.
