Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC, AWS Hardware Engineering Services, seeks a Sr. Technical Program Manager to define and build the next generation of cloud platforms.

You will lead multiple hardware product development programs across diverse geographic regions and with a variety of suppliers. You will join a team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers to deliver safety, security, and cost efficiency at scale, while maintaining an inclusive culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and release schedules.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple hardware product development programs across internal customers, external vendors and technology partners.
• Apply new technologies to large-scale server deployments to deliver world-class customer experience at scale and cost.
• Use data and key metrics to drive and measure process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.
• Work independently in a dynamic, challenging, fast-changing organization.
