Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in San Jose, California is seeking a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager for CAD Engineering and AI Initiatives.

You will lead strategic programs modernizing CAD tools and design flows while accelerating practical AI adoption, translating opportunities into executable roadmaps and measurable business impact. You will align global teams, drive production deployment and adoption, and define success metrics, including ROI, with a focus on data governance and IP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field relevant to semiconductor design.
• 12+ years in semiconductor, EDA, or high-tech industries, with 6+ years in technical program or project management.
• Experience leading complex engineering programs from concept to delivery in fast-paced environments.
• Solid understanding of CAD/EDA tools and semiconductor design flows.
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML concepts with analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end CAD and AI programs, managing roadmaps, dependencies, resources, and governance.
• Drive development, integration, migration, and adoption of CAD tools and design flows across memory tech.
• Define and implement AI/ML-enabled CAD initiatives, including design-space exploration and automated debug.
• Establish metrics for productivity, cycle-time, quality, cost, and ROI; support responsible AI practices.
• Align CAD engineering, IT/HPC, data science, vendors, and executives to drive adoption.
